Thermos=flask

Last week, I lost one of my "kettle".
I was so stupid that I translate my this thing into English from Chinese directly.
Then I told one of my teacher that I lost my "kettle".
She really asked a number of people to look for my this thing.
At first, there was no one who has ever seen this thing.
Of course! The reason is I gave a wrong information!!
Today, when I entered the classroom, surprisingly found it appeared!!!!
I was really excited coz I thought it was gone!!!!!
And my teacher told me very kindly that it is not a "kettle", it is a flask.
